AudioBoo in the Classroom

Student created media projects are quintessential 21st century learning. This AudioBoo by Alex Fryer is a wonderful example of how technology enhances learning. The CommonCore will demand new teaching strategies of which technology must be at the core. Even first graders will be asked to: (1) participate in collaborative conversations a with diverse partners; (2) build in others' talk; and, (3) ask questions to clear up conversations. That would seem somewhat difficult to accomplish if all students are doing are worksheets. It's time for a change in the way students learn. Challenge yourself as an educator to make learning more meaningful and engaging by including opportunities for students to create digital media projects. They'll thank you for it.
